Folk Art Family Portrait


Early 19thC triple family portrait. Oil on canvas, in a period red and black grain painted frame; unsigned. The sight size is 41.5" x 31.5", overall 51.5" x 41.5".



Found in a house in Syracuse, NY in 1986. According to family lore, the portraits relate to the family of inventor George Mortimer Pullman of NY, and the river view seen through the window is the St. Lawrence river.
